I recently went to my very first #PiquedParty hosted by Patricia Maristch and it was nothing short of fabulous. Patricia welcomed us into Cherry Blow Dry Bar in Paoli where we were all invited to enjoy lite bites and sips while getting blow outs. Obviously, I felt just like a housewife off of a Bravo show so basically, my day was made. 
I had never had a blow out before, but the women at the salon were amazing and I basically just said, “Whatever you think will look best!” and they did an amazing job. I struggle to curl my hair, so it was magical to have someone else do it. One of my guilty pleasures is paying to go get my hair washed at a salon in between cuts. I just really like when someone else washes my hair and massages my scalp. Plus, when you use a lot of dry shampoo it’s a good idea to really get in there every once in a while to ensure you’ve totally cleaned all the residue out so it won’t clog your follicles. All of this just to say that my blow out was amazing and I would 10/10 do it again and recommend. 

My favorite part of the event was linking up and chatting with other Philadelphia area bloggers. It was so cool to meet people at all different stages of their journey and “compare notes” on what works and what doesn’t. Plus, who wouldn’t want to be in a room surrounded by strong, intelligent, motivated women? It was such a confidence boost to be in the midst of that energy!  
Before we left, we all received the cutest goodie bags filled with amazing pieces including earrings from Posh,Ellie Main Line, and Sailor Made. The tote itself is now a new staple in my closet because of it’s amazing print and size. It’s from the Emily McCarthy x Crab and Cleek collaboration and I have never owned such a stylish and bold tote ever! 
For the event, I chose to wore my Kristin wedges from Lilly Pulitzer since they’re super comfortable and my go-to gold shoe. I threw on my reversible Florin dress in Slathouse Soiree because it’s easy but flattering and doesn’t wrinkle. For accessories, I added my Forever 21 gold bamboo bangles and some Lilly Pulitzer bamboo bracelets to complete the look. Top it off with my tried and true gold Ginger earrings from Lisi Lerch, and you have the best party outfit!
So many thanks to Patricia and Piqued PR for such a fabulous event! Every detail was perfect, the food was scrumptious and the company was incredible. Can’t wait for my next excursion into the city for an event, it’s always such a good time!
