Over the years, the way that I do my makeup has changed DRASTICALLY. Hence why I am updating this page (right now, 3/29/22) to reflect how I’m taking care of my body’s largest organ. This is definitely a “I wish I knew then what I know now” situation. My poor skin! When it comes to beauty, I go for a pretty natural and easy look with as little steps as possible. I want all of my products to be good for my skin and as clean as possible with a price tag that doesn’t completely terrify me.

..And if you want some extra explanation, here are all the details!

Mascara – I have been using Tarte brand mascara since college and the lash paint is my favorite formula because it’s smudege-proof while also being gentle on your lashes so you don’t get any breakage and you can maintain healthy lashes.

Bronzer – I always buy the shade ‘laguna’ and I love this formula because it never makes me break out and it has the best color.

Tinted Moisturizer – You have to wear spf people! This is my favorite formula and does not make you break out. I have been buying the shade ‘groenland’ which gives me a slightly more tan coloring without being completely unbelievable.

Brown Pencil – This isn’t linked because I buy it at the Dollar Tree, but I swear by the L.A. Colors brown pencil in dark blonde. I buy them in handfuls since they’re only $1.

Concealer – I like the extra creamy formula of the Tarte concealer and I use a packed brush to blot into my skin after spraying my face with Evian Mineral Water Spray. I never liked setting spray all that much, so I use this instead to avoid clogging my pores.

Blush – I only recently got into blush and I like this formula because it’s for a simple routine. I just tap my fingers in it and dab onto my cheeks. It’s great for a no-makeup day if you just want to pop some on and swipe a little mascara. Easy!

Melt Oil – This product is so good for hormonal acne! Every once in a while I get some hormonal acne on my chin area and this Blume oil is so great for clearing it up overnight. I use it the same way I would use my normal face oil at night and it doesn’t dry my skin out like a typical spot treatment.

Face Oil and Pump – I bought this fun pump on Amazon and fill it with this grape seed oil that I use at night. When my skin is moisturized, it looks its best! I slap this oil on in excess every night. It’s perfect because it is non-comedogenic, super moisturizing, and completely clean.

Eye Cream – I guess when I turned 30 this seemed particularly important. Here’s the thing, I’m not 100% sure that this does wonders, but it’s part of my nighttime ritual as an effort to combat dark circles.

Depuffing Serum – You might be wondering why this product is a bit pricey, but it’s because it actually works. I am always so impressed by how effective this is on depuffing eye bags whether they’re from late-night salty martinis, lack of sleep, or too much indulgent crying. It is literally a miracle product.

Moisturizer – This moisture boost formula is perfect because it provides serious hydration without any greasy sheen so it can be nicely layered under makeup. I usually apply to my entire face in the morning, but in the winter I will use it under my eyes before concealer for extra moisture to ensure that my concealer doesn’t get cakey or crack.
