The taste of luxury.
No seriously, that is what a French 75 tastes like. I have actually always wanted to try one but it wasn’t until our trip to North Carolina that I finally ordered one. It’s fun, fresh, and delicious. 10/10 for sure. I’m putting the recipe below, but honestly the best way to experience this is to put on that cute outfit and get your butt to the bar for some true relaxation, the kind where someone brings everything right to you. If you do try to make it on your own, it’s just a few steps so I’m sure a talented, intelligent woman like you can handle it.
ingredients:
- 1 lemon
- 3 tablespoons gin
- 1.5 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon simple syrup
- 1 cup of ice cubes
- .25 cup dry champagne
how to:
- Combine gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker.
- Add ice and shake for 20 seconds.
- Strain into chilled champagne flute and top with champagne or sparkling wine.
Where we’re shopping…
Well, we’re actually shopping all over the place because fall layers are easy to find but good fall layers are a different story. I’ve picked out my favorite pieces from super affordable cashmere to flattering sweater options to keep you toasty warm despite the chill. Enjoy! …Did I mention there’s a cashmere wrap included in this that is under $40? YES, you heard that right!!
